Co-CEO & Co-Founder, Symbo
Singapore
Adrit is the Co-Founder &amp Co CEO of Symbo, one of the region&#39s fastest-growing Insurtech companies. Symbo launched in 2017 is the largest tech-enabled Embedded Insurance broking firm in India. The company&rsquos vision is De-risking the World! But for Adrit, it&#39s really about making #insurancesexy!!! He is a firm believer that technology, platforms, and protection (be it health or insurance) are always seen to continue to evolve, and it so happens that tech innovation is the current now, hence &ndash Symbo &amp Vivant. To be able to become the world&rsquos largest platform to distribute insurance in a way that is relevant and intuitive to the user is Adrit&rsquos ultimate goal. Symbo has now expanded into new business lines wherein their roots as a digital brokerage have helped them offer an Enterprise SAAS platform for the insurance sector to manage their distribution &amp health engagement. Having spent time in the Insurance world before here, he understands the pain points and opportunities pertaining to Insurance (be it acquisition, trust, transparency, efficiency, or solving the true customer problem at the &lsquomoment of truth&rsquo - when a claim happens)! Prior to joining Symbo &amp Vivant, he was running a health tech start-up called Vivant, before which he held various leadership roles at RSA &amp AIG. Adrit considers himself a sum of many parts. He takes pride in his leadership skills and ability to excel in diverse roles across multiple markets having spent time in the U.S., U.K., MEA, and Singapore. Adrit&rsquos educational development started at the Doon School. Eventually, he completed his Bachelors in Arts at Knox College and earned an MBA from the University of Strathclyde. He is a die-hard extrovert and would love to think that he can &#39slay&#39 anyone at golf (or be called a bandit on a good day), but with his wife, 2 kids, and a dog he makes time to be with family when he can. Runs are his &lsquogo-to&rsquo these days for &rsquo self-care.
