Arabella Eunju Kim is an international non-life insurance and reinsurance professional with deep experience in innovative business development, brokerage, and management of global insurance programs. She is recognized for driving new business development efforts with special concentration in the emerging risk (e.g. Web3, Cyber), digitalization and alternative capital sectors. She, as a Senior Client Manager and Digital Lead, is working at Munich Reinsurance Company in Singapore from September 2017. Before assuming her role, she held the position of Client Manager and Digital Lead for Munich Re Korea Branch from July 2013. She co-created new products and markets with insurers, brokers and digital market entrants by forming strategic and transformational collaborations. She was honoured as one of 100 distinguished global leaders in (re)insurance industry in 2020 and she was named as one of top 10 InsurTech leaders in Asia in 2019. She takes active roles in various startup accelerator programs as an official mentor (e.g. Ping An Cloud, Startupbootcamp, F10, Plug and Play), also regularly presents at key events for the insurance industry. She is an advocate of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion as a Committee Member of Women in Reinsurance (WiRE) Singapore. She studied Physics at the Ewha Womans University and completed specialized finance training: Finance Specialist in Private Equity at the London Business School and Venture Capital and M&A at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
