Sarah is the Group Chief Customer and Health Officer for FWD. She oversees customer experience, transformation, customer solutions (includes underwriting, operations) and health management (includes health data analytics, partnership and provider management, healthcare redesign, health risk management and digital health development).

Prior to joining FWD, Sarah was the Global Healthcare Management and Clinical Innovations Director at Bupa, where she has held multiple senior clinical leadership and management positions. She has also held non-executive director roles in both insurance businesses and government agencies such as Eastern Academic Health Science Network, based in Cambridge, UK.

She graduated as a doctor from Imperial College, London and worked as surgeon in leading hospitals in London. She is a trained academic and has published widely in the areas of quality, safety and health services. She has been leading author for clinical guidelines and quality improvement and a member of the team on safer primary care research at the World Health Organization. Her key interest is in developing new models of healthcare delivery, customer centric solutions and the use of technology and data to accelerate development.
