Joined as the first local hire in Japan, Kohei has been leading ICEYE’s go to market strategy and business expansion in the Japanese and the APAC market, focusing primarily on the insurance industry and the public sector. With 20 years’ experience in the P&C insurance industry, Kohei has previously served as Head of Business Development Japan at Liberty Specialty Markets, and worked for Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance, both at Tokyo Headquarters and London.

上智大学を卒業後、東京海上日動にて法人営業、海外駐在、商品企画に従事。40歳で米系損保のシンガポール法人に転職し、アジア地域の日系ビジネスを立ち上げる。2021年にフィンランド発の宇宙ベンチャーに日本人第一号として参画し、現在は同社のアジア・パシフィック向けソリューション事業を統括している。
