Luca Burlando leads Sygnum&rsquos ventures efforts across equity and token investments. Previously he was a Director at Blockchain Valley Ventures, a Swiss-Singaporean venture firm. He led new ventures across APAC, specifically focusing on digital assets and fintech. Having started his career at Credit Suisse, he continued his public markets experience at Soci&eacutet&eacute G&eacuten&eacuterale on their derivatives trading desk. Luca subsequently set up a family office in Taiwan, focusing on alternative assets. He also has experience in the startup world, having led a fintech startup focused on fractional ownership of illiquid financial assets. He holds a Master&rsquos degree in Finance from the University of St. Gallen (HSG). Luca grew up in Switzerland, but was born in Italy. He has been living in Asia since 2015, and since 2018 in Singapore.
