Naoyuki Kosaka graduated from Doshisha University, Faculty of Economics.

After working for a foreign cosmetics company and a foreign life insurance company, he founded Financial Japan, an insurance agency, in 2013.

In 5 fiscal years, Financial Japan has grown to more than 200 employees and established 11 branch offices in Japan. In April 2019, the company was acquired by the group of SBI Shinsei Bank, Limited. As President and Representative Director, he also entered the bank agency and securities brokerage business. Then he grew the company's number of employees to over 800 and branch offices to over 50 in Japan. (As of February 2024).

He founded hokan,Inc. in August 2017.
