Quanyie is currently the Head of India in Dai-ichi Life Group’s regional strategy team in Singapore, where her focus is on growing Star Union Dai-ichi Life, a joint venture in India with two leading public sector banks.

Prior to that, she has had over 12 years of experience in the Asia Pacific region, from consulting to being a Chief & Appointed Actuary, where she provided actuarial and strategy consulting services across APAC, led capital reporting and pricing review for a leading life insurer in Australia, drove market entry and insurance licensing then built product and actuarial functions from the ground up in Myanmar, established a regional data & analytics function in Singapore, and led post-merger integration for an acquisition in New Zealand. 

Quanyie is an Australian qualified actuary and is also currently in the midst of a dual-degree Executive MBA with Tsinghua University and INSEAD.
