Sherry Du is Managing Director of RGAX Asia Pacific, the transformation engine of the Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated (RGA). Sherry is responsible for driving business strategy for the APAC region, leveraging the latest technology, data and customer insight and RGA&rsquos core strengths to develop broad innovation solutions for the insurance industry. Based in Hong Kong, Sherry leads RGAX operations spanning from Beijing to Tokyo, Hong Kong to Mumbai. As a highly regarded actuary and a risk expert, Sherry joined RGAX with over 22 years&rsquo experience across Asia Pacific, including InsurTech and innovation solutions, top-level business strategic plans, risk appetites and capital efficiency, world-class IPOs and M&ampAs, and reinsurance strategy. Prior to joining RGAX, Sherry worked as the Head of Accelerator Group Swiss Re APAC, leading multiple lines of innovation solutions and alternative distribution channels. Before it, Sherry worked at Willis Towers Watson (WTW) for 13 years. Being the Regional Director, Sherry looked after the insurance and actuarial business lines, being the key founder of WTW&rsquos first on ground insurance practice in China in 2006, and the first person introducing Telematic Insurance/data-driven dynamic pricing to China. Sherry holds a Master of Commerce in Actuarial Science from the University of New South Wales, Australia, with honors as the top student. She is a FSA, an AIAA and a fellow of the Actuarial Society of Hong Kong.
