After he engaged in investment development at Yamaichi Securities, Eguchi founded an Internet startup in 1995 and ran it for 9 years. Since exiting the company by handing over it to a co-founder, he had experienced startup investment at a venture investment firm of Softbank, followed by participating new business development at enterprises such as Hitachi Zosen, Konica Minolta, and SOMPO Holdings. Eguchi has been part of Dai-Ichi Life Holdings since April 2021, and serves as Executive Officer and General Manager of Innovation Strategy Unit. He graduated from Indian School of Business with an MBA degree.
