Windian Lai is the Chief Business Officer at Generali Hong Kong, focusing on Agency, Bancassurance and digital channels.  She oversees Generali’s partnership ecosystems and creates innovative products catered for the demand of various customer segments.

Being committed to leading digitalisation within the company, she has delivered initiatives with great impact. She drove the establishment of a digital platform with full open API for retail general insurance products that ensures effortless connectivity amongst business partners.  Last year, she also started the bancassurance partnership with ZA Bank to offer customers of the bank a seamless, digitally-engaged journey which combines the user-friendliness of the app and human touch of Generali insurance advisors.

With two decades of experience in the insurance industry, she has an extensive expertise in product development, management and marketing.  Future facing, she is committed to continuing expanding the business of agency and bancassurance channels by leveraging data analytics and driving company-wide innovation under her leadership.

Windian holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Hong Kong and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA).
