Yen Ming is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of PolicyStreet. He has an extensive experience in the insurance and financial sector covering areas of strategy, product development, distribution and digital spanning over 20 years in 7 multi-national companies. In the last 5 years, he has been instrumental in the insurance technology arena where he was invited as a panellist in Bank Negara Malaysia&rsquos MyFintech Week 2019 and 2021. He has been in several roundtable discussions with the regulators on digitalisation of the insurance sector. In 2019, he was also selected as one of the 24 entrepreneurs to attend an immersion program by Ant Financial at its headquarters in Hangzhou being exposed to the numerous successful business models of Ant Group. Under his leadership, PolicyStreet was recently awarded a General Insurance and Reinsurance license from Labuan Financial Services Authority enabling it to now underwrite innovative products within the region. Yen Ming was awarded with the Young Entrepreneurs Award 2020 by ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) recognising PolicyStreet&rsquos contribution to the insurance sector in South East Asia. He holds a Master in Business Administration from Strathclyde Business School and received his Bachelor&rsquos in Electrical Engineering (1st Class Honours) from University of Malaya.
