Ben Assanasen is the Managing Director at TSI Insurance (Thai Setakij Insurance Plc.). With his broad experience, he is responsible for leading the development and execution of the company’s strategy and driving overall business performance in line with its strategic direction.  In addition, he is part of the Executive Board at the TGIA (Thai General Insurance Association), which leads insurance developments across the Thai Insurance Industry. 

Ben brings with him a wealth of industry and leadership experience spanning over two decades.

He has worked for Tune Protect Group (TPG), as the Chief Executive Officer for Thailand and TPG Health Leader. He was also the Managing Director of Bupa Health Insurance Thailand. 

Ben began his career in the United States, where he subsequently joined American International Group (AIG) for several senior management roles, initially in Thailand as the Head of Accident & Health Insurance and subsequently in Hong Kong as the Regional Vice President of Accident & Health for the Southeast Asia Region.

Ben is qualified with Honors, holding a Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Operational Research & Industrial Engineering, a Master in Engineering, and a Master of Business Administration all from Cornell University, New York.
