He joined Tokio Marine & Fire Insurance in 1994. He has extensive experience in claims services, including payment operations, system design, and headquarters coordination. He led disaster responses for the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and the 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake. He has also worked in group companies, sales promotion, HR, and as the Kyoto branch manager. Currently, he is the Executive Officer and General Manager of Claims Services, responsible for planning and promoting long-term service strategies, customer satisfaction, quality improvement, and DX strategies.

94年東京海上火災保険に入社。長年損害サービス（保険金支払）に関わるセクションに所属し、支払実務やシステム設計、本社での統轄部署などを経験し、本社では東日本大震災や熊本地震の二度の災害対応について、支払部門統括として陣頭指揮を執った。その他、グループ会社や営業推進・人事、直近では京都支店長を経て現職に至る。現在は、執行役員・損害サービス業務部長として、主に、損害サービスの中長期的なサービス戦略、顧客満足度や品質の向上、DX戦略などの企画・立案・推進の責任者をしている。
