Daisy is an experienced actuarial and senior leader in the Life & Health re/insurance industry. She started her career at Swiss Re in 1999. While she has spent a large part of her professional life with Swiss Re, she had also taken on various leadership positions within the industry.
Daisy took on her current role as Head of Life & Health Asia, effective 1 April 2022. Based in Hong Kong, Daisy is responsible for driving the growth of Swiss Re's life & health business in Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, India, Hong Kong and Taiwan, as well as global clients across Asia.
She is a member of Swiss Re's Asia management Team, Asia Executive Committee, Asia Life & Health Management Committee, and Globals Management Team.
Prior to her current role, Daisy led the Life & Health Products Hub in Asia for five years. She was responsible for underwriting, pricing and portfolio steering for the region. Prior to that, Daisy was the Chief Pricing Actuary within the Life & Health Asia Pacific team at Swiss Re.
During her career break from Swiss Re, Daisy spent several years in various leadership roles in organisations within the industry before rejoining Swiss Re in 2011 – she was previously Chief Pricing Actuary at RGA Reinsurance, Consulting Actuary at Watson Wyatt Insurance Consulting Limited and Marketing Actuary at Sun Life.
Daisy has a Bachelor of Mathematics in Actuarial Science and Statistics from the University of Waterloo, Canada and has been a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries since 2003.
