Ian is a Singaporean and is passionate about bringing “assurance” back into insurance. Promoting the value of insurance for everyone; and making it affordable, accessible, and available. He is also passionate about health, fitness, and wellness and sees the benefits in building a resilient insurance financial ecosystem for individuals, businesses, and community.

His career spans over 25 years of experience in respect of (Re)Insurance Underwriting for Non-life and Life Insurance companies and Broking Companies, amongst which 10 years in international (re)insurance underwriting for (re)insurance companies and the other 15 years in (re)insurance broking practice. He is trained as a lawyer, and is an Associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute. He has a Global Business MBA from Lincoln University College and he gives his time back to the industry by being a regular Lecturer for Singapore College of Insurance since 1998.

He is the Founder and CEO of Lexasure Financial Group which is an investment holding group in Insurance, Insurance Services, Reinsurance, Asset Management, and Technology & Digitalisation for insurance ecosystems. It is currently privately held with an insurance backed experience team. It trades in US and Asia markets with approximately 75% of revenues are derived from the US businesses with a total asset base under management of nearing half a billion US Dollars.
