Kuniyuki Hirano joined Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co., Ltd. in 1992. After he experienced various industries in a sales position, he was appointed as a General Manager of the Business Innovation Department in 2020, leading new business development collaborating with external partners, and organizational innovation. He became Executive Officer in April 2022 and was appointed as Executive Officer and General Manager of the Business Design Department in April 2023. Kuniyuki promotes innovation, and he has been promoting "Transformation of the value providing to customers" by launching solution offerings that support insurance and compensation before and after as a "Platform provider of risk solution".
