Ms. Orchis Li is the General Manager of Gen Re's Hong Kong Branch. She joined Gen Re in 2015 and is responsible for the management of the Hong Kong branch and MNCs client relationships. Orchis also has the responsibilities of driving InsurTech strategy as well as analytics and development of CI products for Asia. She has more than 20 years of experience with the insurance industry. Orchis serves as a Governing Committee Member for the HKFI, and was the Chairman for 2023–2024.

She's on the Industry Advisory Committee of the IA, the Complaints Panel under The Insurance Complaints Bureau, the VHIS Disciplinary Actions Appeal Panel, and the Financial Institutions Resolution Compensation Tribunal. Orchis is also an active member of various committees with the Actuarial Society of Hong Kong and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and the ASHK.
