Ryota Hayashi founded Finatext (now Finatext Holdings Ltd.) in December 2013. With its mission of “Reinventing Finance as a Service,” the company group works with its partners to promote digital transformation in finance and realize embedded finance. Hayashi started his career in Deutsche Bank London, Global Technology department, later internally transferred to global markets, where he engages with institutional investors in Europe. He graduated from the University of Tokyo with a degree in Economics and studied Computer Science at the University of Bristol.

東京大学経済学部卒業後、英ブリストル大学でコンピューターサイエンスを学び、日本人初の現地新卒でドイツ銀行ロンドンのテクノロジー部門に入社。ロンドン・欧州全域の機関投資家営業に従事した後、ヘッジファンド勤務を経て2013年12月に株式会社Finatext（現・株式会社Finatextホールディングス）を創業。「金融を“サービス“として再発明する」をミッションに、パートナー企業とともに組込型金融を推進している。
