Mr. Katagiri is the Sales Director Japan/Korea at Akur8, a French InsurTech company that provides end-to-end actuarial pricing platform powered by machine learning techniques.
Prior to joining Akur8, he worked at BlackRock where he served in different roles providing consultancy and implementation services to asset managers, insurers and pension funds leveraging Aladdin®, the integrated risk/investment management technology platform. Most recently, he was Director and the Head of the Aladdin Client Transformation (Implementation) team in Japan.
He started his career at Nomura Research Institute as project manager and system consultant in Tokyo and Hong Kong implementing systems for sell/buy-side companies.

新卒で野村総合研究所に入社し、東京と香港で、国内証券・資産運用会社の海外拠点向けシステム導入やシステムコンサルティング業務に従事。
