Amitabh Singh, Asia Regional Head (Intermediary Platforms) & Malaysia Managing Director at Igloo observed that some insurers have adopted fairly limited technology enablement for agents, but not enough for brokers and multi-product distributors. Agents are not being empowered by technology as much as they would want, therefore it is a massively underserved area in the insurance market, he remarked.
