Mohd Amirul Mukminin Mansor is Deputy Director of Islamic Finance Department at Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM). He has been with BNM since 2003 with more than 20 years of experience in prudential and developmental policy for Islamic financial institutions encompassing institutional, regulatory capital, governance, financial reporting, takaful operational framework as well as Shariah standards. He has been representing BNM in various technical committees established by Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB) and International Association of Insurance Supervisions (IAIS). He was previously seconded at Malaysian Accounting Standards Board for two years (2022-2023), leading the Islamic finance reporting and sustainability disclosure research. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia. He is a professional member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants and Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy, UK.
