Chris Bayley is the Co-Founder of Cover Genius, a Series E insurtech founded in 2014 and Founding Partner of Deck2.vc. Cover Genius was formed to protect the customers of the world's largest digital companies. The company has attracted over US$200 million in investment capital from leading American and European funds and grown rapidly to over 600 employees globally while signing up 2 million customers a month at a growth rate of 80%.

After stepping down from day-to-day work at Cover Genius in 2024, Chris established Deck2.vc, a private equity fund focused on insurance/insurtech distributors, and a separate fund for early stage investments. Chris has also founded and funded social impact startups in the US and South-East Asia.

Chris worked at Google prior to starting Cover Genius with his business partner Angus McDonald, who remains CEO. Chris is the largest shareholder of Cover Genius and remains on the Board.
