Mr. Jiang Zhang, Founder and CEO of LongRiver Investments, has over 20 years of global experience in high-tech R&D,  strategic development, operational management, and investments. Before founding the LongRiver, Jiang worked for Ping An Group, where he served as CEO of Ping An Ventures and member of the Ping An Group’s Investment Committee. Formerly Mr. Zhang worked at McKinsey in Beijing, Philips in the Netherlands, and State Grid Xuji Electric in Beijing.

Mr. Zhang has also been appointed as a member of 1st and 2nd Science and Technology Consultation Committee of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, an independent director at Samsung Property Insurance (China) and former rotating chair of the China Healthcare Investment 50 Forum (H50). He has received many awards, including the "2021 and 2020 Class-A VC/PE Managers of Insurance Funds” and "2023 Top 20 Influential Investors".

Mr. Zhang holds an MBA degree from INSEAD in France, and Professional Doctorate Degree in Engineering (PDEng.) and Master's degree from Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands.
