As Regional Bancassurance Head of Product Development, Kay oversees the management of life and GI bancassurance products across 6 markets in DBS Bank. Her responsibility includes managing relationships with exclusive bancassurance partners to develop insurance products tailored for retail, affluent, High Net Worth and corporate customers.
With more than 17 years of insurance industry experience, Kay brings a wealth of expertise in various domains including InsurTech, business development, product development, pricing, customer insights, appointed actuary services, financial modelling and economic valuation of life insurance companies.
Kay holds qualifications as a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA). She actively contributes to the actuarial field through volunteer roles, serving as a Council Member of the Singapore Actuarial Society (SAS) since 2020, and previously as SAS Health Committee Chair from 2019 to 2021 and as Board member of the International Actuarial Association Health Section (IAAHS) from 2019 to 2022. Her efforts in promoting societal impact through actuarial skillsets were recognized with the SOA 2021 Young Actuaries in Asia on Societal Impact award.
Kay graduated with BSBA in Actuarial Science/ Finance from Drake University and she is currently pursuing Executive MBA with the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
