Kazuhiro Kawabata joined Finatext in 2019. He leads the insurance business of Finatext and is also a director of Smartplus Small Amount and Short Term Insurance Company Ltd. Before he joined the company, he worked at Hakuhodo and Boston Consulting Group (BCG). At Hakuhodo, he was engaged in marketing strategy planning and execution support for consumer goods, machinery, retail, Etc. At BCG, he was involved in support of launching multiple new businesses and services. He graduated from the University of Tokyo, Faculty of Economics.

東京大学経済学部卒業。博報堂、ボストンコンサルティンググループ（BCG）を経て、Finatextに入社。博報堂では消費財・機械、小売等のマーケティング戦略立案・実行支援業務に従事し、BCGでは複数の新規事業・新サービス立ち上げ支援業務に従事。現在Finatextでは、保険事業の立ち上げ・推進をリードし、スマートプラス少額短期保険株式会社の取締役も務める。
