Phil is Vice President and Chief Actuary at NEXT Insurance Company, a technology enabled insurance company whose mission is to help entrepreneurs thrive by offering small business insurance products that are simple, affordable and tailored to its customers. Phil oversees several functions including all aspects of pricing, but also reserving, regulatory filing, product implementation, and statistical reporting.  Prior to this, Phil was a senior director in Munich Re Digital Partners' US division, and has also held roles as senior manager at Ernst & Young and various roles at Hartford Insurance Groups small commercial division.  Phil has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
