Romain Choquer leads the Life & Health Modelling function for EMEA at SCOR, based in Paris. He holds dual degrees in IT Engineering and Actuarial Science (ISUP Paris), and is a certified actuary with the French Society of Actuaries. His hybrid expertise in IT and actuarial science supports his work in reinsurance analytics and modelling. Romain began his career as a financial analyst in Casablanca, then spent six years at Fractales in Paris, focusing on ALM modelling and actuarial software for French life insurers. Since joining SCOR in 2022, he has served as global product owner of the MIND Project, a reserving tool for IFRS17, Solvency II, and local GAAP. He also leads the design and automation of reserving tools across SCOR's EMEA operations.
