Born in Tokyo in 1972, Takashi Uehara graduated from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1995 and earned an MBA from London Business School in 2013. He began his career at Sanwa Bank (now MUFG Bank) in 1995, later serving as Director of Planning at Japan Electronic Bill Exchange Corporation in 2008. In 2013, he returned to MUFG Bank as Deputy General Manager of Corporate Planning and, in 2016, assumed leadership of the Innovation Lab, spearheading digital transformation initiatives. In 2017, he was appointed CEO of Japan Digital Design, followed by senior roles at SOMPO Holdings, including Chief Evangelist for Digital Strategy and Executive Vice President of SOMPO Light Vortex. After serving as Special Advisor for Investment Strategy and Corporate Officer at Dai-ichi Life Holdings, he became CEO of Neo First Life Insurance Co., Ltd. in April 2024, while concurrently holding an executive position at Dai-ichi Life Holdings.

 
 1972年、東京都生まれ。東京工業大学工学部卒。1995年、株式会社三和銀行（現：株式会社三菱UFJ銀行）に入行。2017年、JapanDigitalDesign株式会社CEO、2021年、SOMPOホールディングス株式会社デジタル戦略部チーフエバンジェリストなどを経て、2024年にネオファースト生命保険会社、代表取締役社長に就任。
