Vinay Surana is the Regional CEO Asia Pacific for Allianz Partners since March 2020. In this role is responsible for leading Allianz Partners business across 11 markets across Asia and Australasia. He is an accomplished leader with 20+ years of global experience in insurance and financial services industry. Vinay has a successfully track record of building scale and profitable business through effective transformation and change management. He has launched start-up businesses across Asia and North America in insurance and financial services industry. He has also introduced award winning products and AI enabled digital solutions in multiple markets through strategic partnerships with tech start-ups. Vinay has consistently created high performing agile teams across his business. He is passionate about diversity & inclusion and has championed various internal and external activities to promote inclusive and safe workplace. Prior to joining Allianz, Vinay was SVP, Asia Pacific Head Individual Personal Insurance with AIG Inc., Sydney and Tokyo. He has spent 13 years with AIG in various senior leadership business and functional roles in Commercial and Consumer Insurance across different markets in Asia, North America and Australasia. He started his professional career in Public Accounting with Ernst & Young in India and spent couple of year in Risk and Operational Consulting in North America and Europe. Vinay qualified as a member of Institute of Chartered Accountant of India in 2003. He graduated with Honors in Commerce from University of Calcutta. Recently Vinay successfully completed One year Executive leadership Diploma Program &lsquoAsian Leadership in Financial Institutions with National University of Singapore (NUS).
