ASEAN Insurance Council (AIC) is the main regional platform for insurance leaders, professionals and practitioners to network and share their knowledge and expertise in various areas of the insurance business. This non-government organization (NGO) works closely with the ASEAN Insurance Regulators and other stakeholders for the development of the ASEAN insurance industry.

AIC is an Accredited Entity of the Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) which comprises 15 members of insurance associations from 10 ASEAN member countries, namely:  Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. It was established on 4 April 1978 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
